NMAA diploma In 2004, the National Military Academy of Afghanistan (NMAA) initiated efforts to educate leaders within the Afghan National Army, under the guidance of West Point. The inaugural graduating class of 84 cadets graduated from NMAA in January 2009.

The Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan (CSTC-A), is responsible for training the Afghan National Security Force (ANSF), which includes army and police personnel, to achieve security and stability in Afghanistan. As part of that contract, in January 2009 OT Training Solutions (OTTS) began providing literacy training to the Afghan National Army.

As of this writing, OTTS is conducting ongoing Literacy Training classes in Afghanistan so that soldiers in the Afghan National Army will be able to read and write Dari and Pashto, their native languages, so they can advance in the Military or better prepare themselves for higher paying jobs in civilian life.

OT Training Solutions has five retired, senior Non-commissioned Officers in Afghanistan acting as advisors/mentors to the Afghan National Army Corps commanders and staff. They are helping the ANA understand the importance of education / training and an annual training plan. They are also helping the corps staff prepare training schedules with Red/Amber/Green cycles to ensure the Corps accomplishes all of its Mission Essential Task List.

OTTS also trains military forces how to use virtual training devices such as the Conduct of Fire Trainer (COFT) and Virtual Combat Convoy Trainer (VCCT).
