OTTS was awarded the contract for the First US Army Senior Mentor Program.

The purpose of the contract is to provide qualified, retired General and Field Grade officers and Senior NCOs to assist, train and mentor the senior headquarters Commander and battle staff and the subordinate commands participating in battle staff training in preparation for combat and other support operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo.

Conditions vary from low to high intensity conflict.

Training assistance and mentoring was performed at eight CONUS mobilization locations. Senior Mentors are typically augmented by additional subject matter area experts with the requisite experience and expertise and analytical, doctrinal, and instructional assistance.

Composition of a mentor assistance team is designated for each individual exercise conducted, as requested by the responsible First Army Training Support Brigade (TSB) and approved by Commander First Army.
