OT Training Solutions | Literacy, Education, Training SolutionsWe began our journey in 2008 with a contract award for the Afghan National Army Literacy Program.

Soon after that initial success, OT Training Solutions competed and won a $62M multi-year IDIQ Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) literacy education contract, where we manage in excess of 1,000 teachers and administrators, and train approximately 40,000 students each month. And we’re proud to say that more than 90 percent of the OT Training Solutions staff are veterans and retired military personnel.

Today, our broad scope of work ranges from education, to mentoring battalion and brigade staffs, to training elite infantry units in conflict zones, to providing field technicians, instructors, and operators for virtual training devices.

OT Training Solutions performs on a number of contracts and task orders, holding positions on PEO STRI and SeaPort-e IDIQ services contracts. Our current efforts can be found on our contracts page.

Marion Owens, president, CEO, and owner, is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel.

As CEO, Marion’s role is to implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

He develops and leads client marketing strategies and oversees the execution of all programs necessary to drive growth while meeting sales goals and client objectives.

Kristopher Thorpe

Vice President, CFO, & Owner

Kristopher Thorpe, vice president, CFO, and owner, is a retired U.S. Army Sr. Non-Commissioned Officer.

As the chief financial officer, Kris controls and implements OT Training Solutions’ financial plans to include billing, payroll, health and dental care, insurance, and taxes — the things that make it “all come together.”

Human Resources Manager

Joyce Ward is a certified human resources professional with over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.

Ms. Ward is responsible for directing the human resources department, including recruitment, performance management, policy development, benefits administration, employee services, and counseling.
